Gabe Tyler, who was born and raised in Nelson, BC, started his construction career apprenticing from an early age of 15. With more than 25 years of construction experience, Gabe understands that quality is the most important aspect of our business. Gabe resides in Nelson BC with his wife Rikki and three young children. The family enjoys the outdoor recreational opportunities and stunning beauty of the Kootenays.
Gabe has been an HPO Registered Builder since 2013 and was a member of the RDCK Advisory Planning & Heritage Commission for 2 years. Gabe is driven by a passion for energy efficiency and the environment, sitting on the Nelson Carbon Neutral Committee in one of six cities in Canada who have committed to being carbon neutral by 2050. This knowledge and passion have cascaded down through the company where he encourages all employees to consider the environment and energy efficiency in everything NMC does. North Mountain Construction is fully committed to improving the way construction is undertaken, continually bringing new methods to projects both through design, manufacturing, and on-site techniques.
