Partnering with the Kaslo Housing Society and New Commons Development, this project features a three-storey, classic wood-frame building designed to provide 10 vital residential units to the local community. The development offers a diverse mix of layouts, ranging from studio apartments to three-bedroom units, specifically catering to retired persons, young families, service workers, and individuals in transition.
Sustainability & Accessibility
Designed by Christine Ross Architect with a strong focus on sustainability and inclusivity, the building is highly energy-efficient. It complies with BC Energy Step Code 4 and CMHC requirements for greenhouse gas emission reductions, and even incorporates rooftop solar.
