Project Overview
Between 2019 and 2024, North Mountain Construction partnered with Cover Architecture to deliver a series of extensive renovations for the Lower Kootenay Band at the Ainsworth Hot Springs. Over the course of these multiple projects, which were valued at over $1 million, North Mountain played a vital role in transforming key areas of the facility. A major highlight of their work involved crafting and installing the stunning feature wood and timber elements that now beautifully frame the hot springs and elevate the aesthetic of the change rooms.
Resort Enhancements & Upgrades
Beyond the primary pool and change room facilities, North Mountain Construction also managed significant structural and interior upgrades to enhance the overall guest experience. The team executed a complete renovation of the upper roof structure to create an expansive rooftop patio extending off the Ktunaxa Restaurant. Most recently, their role expanded to include a comprehensive interior renovation of the third-floor rooms and hallways, showcasing their versatility across all phases of the resort’s revitalization.
